It’s time to retool this blog a little bit ie: actually use it. It’s going to be come more of a recording memoir; to give readers and myself some behind the scenes insight and clarity into the process of making records. When I say “Real Records,” I mean exactly that. Songs and albums intended for release in the highest quality. Not using “mixtape track” as an excuse, and not making demos to sit on forever; anything I work on I intend to last the test of time.
I make music for a living, so everything I work on is as real as it gets.
I have a number of projects in the works at the moment, and with the blessing of those artists, I’m going to give as many details as possible. Don’t expect this to be as technically in depth as my column in AboveGround Magazine, this will be more story driven.
